Property Service Officer

Salay: £20,000 – £22,000 OTE

DEX is looking for a full time Property Service Officer to join our operations team who will report directly to the Operations Manager. We are seeking a dynamic, well organised, confident and driven individual, who can demonstrate initiative in addressing property matters and build rapport with our Guardians, contractors and clients. The ideal person will possess property management experience, experience in building a rapport with contractors, excellent communication skills and have a positive and determined approach.

Your role will include:

  • Responding and prioritising maintenance requests
  • Co-ordinate the activities of all contractors and maintenance team to ensure that all jobs are completed in a timely and efficient manner under direction of the operations manager
  • Ensure all maintenance cases are completed accurately
  • Checking and arranging the raising of invoices with operations manager
  • Maintain property database for ongoing repairs
  • Arrange property access
  • Purchasing of property supplies for Guardians
  • Gathering quotes from contractors


  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal are essential
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritise, multi-task and work under pressure
  • Hardworking and dedicated individual
  • Previous experience in property management is desirable
  • High level of computer literacy
  • Degree or equivalent is desirable
